The ACCESS program and resource providers introduce the ability to discover software available across the ACCESS environment. Using this new capability, new and existing allocated researchers can more easily discover which resources offer the software they need. Existing allocated researchers can discover available versions of software, and instructions on how to access each version.

Developers interested in accessing sofware information can access it through https://operations-api.access-ci.org/ restful APIs. Developers interested in embedding software discovery into their websites can embed the WebApp at https://github.com/access-ci-org/Operations_WebApp_SoftwareDiscovery.
