Updating Your ACCESS Profile
To modify the name or email associated with your ACCESS ID:
- Log in at https://registry.access-ci.org/.
- Select “Profile: View and edit your profile”.
- Click on the gear icon to the right of the information that you want to edit.
- IMPORTANT: If you MODIFY your email address, be sure to check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the link in the message to confirm your request. If you ADD a new email address, you must click the gear icon and select "Verify" from the drop-down box to generate the confirmation email. ACCESS requires all email addresses to be verified.
HINT: If you want the email address to be shown as the address in your Allocations Profile, set the Type to "Official". If you simply want a second email address for password resets, set the Type to "Delivery".
To modify the organization associated with your ACCESS ID:
There are two ways you can modify the organization listed in your ACCESS profile:
- Open a ticket to request the new organization for your profile.
- - OR -
- Log on to ACCESS Allocations and visit your ACCESS Profile. Under the "Additional Information" section, select a new "Institution or organization". Please note, however, that modifying your organization using this method is not immediate as it can take up to 24 hours for the change to be shown in the ACCESS User Registry.
