On August 4, 2026, the Jetstream2 engineering team will begin performing essential, extended maintenance. This will result in a service interruption affecting all Jetstream2 resources.
The maintenance window will be from Tuesday, August 4 at 7AM ET until Wednesday, August 5 at approximately 5PM ET. This maintenance is necessary to apply critical operating system and networking updates that ensure the continued stability, security, and performance of our infrastructure.
It will not be possible to launch new instances during this time, and existing instances will be intermittently unavailable.
Quick Summary
- Window starts: August 4, 2026 @ 7AM ET
- Window ends: August 5, 2026 @ 5PM ET (estimated)
- Affected resources: All CPU, GPU, and Large Memory instances
- Take action: Save work prior to maintenance window
Expected Impact
- Instance availability:
- All CPU, GPU, and Large Memory resources will be intermittently unavailable while infrastructure is rebooted.
- Instances will be inaccessible during network rebuild.
- Instances will be restarted as hypervisors are rebooted.
- It will not be possible to launch new instances during the maintenance window.
- All CPU, GPU, and Large Memory resources will be intermittently unavailable while infrastructure is rebooted.
Required Action
All unshelved/running instances will be restarted. To prevent potential data loss from unsaved processes, we strongly recommend that you save all work and stop any running processes before the window begins.
