The Bridges-2 migration is now expected to begin:

November 9, 2026

The system will be unavailable for approximately 4–6 weeks.

Key actions:

• Complete data backups by: November 1, 2026
• Avoid delaying transfers—bandwidth is shared
• Ensure workloads do not extend into the outage

PSC cannot guarantee complete data integrity through the relocation. As a reminder, the Ocean filesystem is never backed up, so as a best practice, we strongly recommend our users maintain offsite backups of important data.
