ACES (Accelerating Computing for Emerging Sciences) is funded by NSF ACSS program (Award #2112356) and provides an innovative advanced computational prototype system. The ACES system has Intel Sapphire Rapids processors, Graphcore IPUs, NEC Vector Engines, Intel Max GPUs (formerly Ponte Vecchio), Intel FPGAs, Next Silicon co-processors, NVIDIA H100 GPUs, Intel Optane memory, and LIQID’s composable PCIe fabric.
